There are seasons in our lives when we feel very discouraged. We feel as though nothing is going as planned and we are no where near where we had planned or imagined ourselves to be at this age and stage in life. It seems like at every turn there is a challenge and you can’t catch a break.
These are just feelings, simple emotions. We can’t be lead by our feelings or we will mess things up in our lives and the lives of others. We must choose to look at the positive in what we are going through. For example, you may be looking for a new job. You have been on 12 interviews and no one has offered you a job. You did get two reference checks but your supervisor neglected to return the calls of the interested employers. You can not becocme discouraged due to this. You must believe that those jobs were not for you and God has a better job in store for you.
You have to stay positive. You must also look at the interviews as blessings that you are allowed practice for the job interview that you will go on that is your destined job. Again, you must find the positive in all things. Discouraging things will happen but it is a decision of how we react and internalize these events or situations.
Remember, all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord. Therefore, don’t feel discouraged but be encouraged. Your best days are ahead of you
