Being Different isn’t Being Weird-My 7 Year Old’s Question

My seven year old Peyton asked me today on our way to dance why is she weird. I asked her to tell me what was weird about her. She replied, “I go to the throne and meet with God, I see and talk to angels, I see spirits, and I love christian music and listen to it all the time”.

I explained to her that this doesn’t make weird but it makes you different and extraordinary. I explained to her that we are as God made us and that makes us exceptionally perfect and never weird.

God makes no mistakes when he designs us to do and be what he created us to. See the value and uniqueness in your differences and don’t view it as weird. You are one of a kind and that makes you precious and priceless.
