In the bible we learn the story of Noah. Noah was chosen by God when He destroyed the earth with water. Noah had a past but God still used him. Noah was known to drink excessively. Many in today’s society would judge Noah and immediately say that there is not way he is hearing anything from God. But in fact historians say that Noah was a righteous man. He was the only one following God during his time. Noah was extremely obedient. Noah built the ark just as he was commanded to do. He truly loved God with his whole heart and he never wavered.

Many of us could learn from Noah’s life story. Even though he had an issue within himself he didn’t allow that to interfere with his relationship with God. He was still true to God and did not partake in the sin of those around him. We must know that regardless of what we are struggling with that God can still use us. We must know that regardless of how others view us that God still sees us as precious and as a vessel that he can use. It was told that Noah’s sons were ashamed of him because he would drink too much and pass out in his tent. Yet he still loved God and was obedient and chosen of God. It doesn’t matter how others see you, it matters that you are loving God with your entire heart and that you are open to allowing Him to use you. Begin to look at yourself from the lens in which God sees you and stop highlighting your faults and short comings.

Noah the movie is coming out soon and this is a must see movie. Please review the link below for a short clip of the movie. Read Noah’s story in the bible before you go the movie so you will have some foundational knowledge of who he was as a person.
