Many times in life we look at others and their situation and we wish we were walking in their shoes. We wish we had their house, their car, their job, their lifestyle. We only see the surface when looking at others. We have no idea of what is really going on behind closed doors. We don’t know how many hours they work at their job and if they are appreciated at work or over looked and not given credit for what they do. We don’t know if they have trouble with their car or if it is even the car they have always dreamed of driving. We don’t know how their marriage is or if they even have peace in their house. Does their house feel like a home? Do they drive around for hours hating to go to that 6 bedroom home with 8 bathrooms.
They could be looking at your life and wanting to walk a mile in your shoes. IN all honesty quite often the unknown is the most appealing to us just because of human nature. Just because something looks comfortable, loving, indulging doesn’t mean that is the actual truth of the matter. It is all about perception and respecting and appreciating what you have. Learn to respect and appreciate what you have. Someone else is wishing for your life because they could have just lost their job, their home, their car or their spouse. Love what you have and love it unconditionally because it is a treasure and gift from God.
