This Is It!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JurwjWEZycWell we have come to another end of a work week for many of us. We reflect on our week as we are able to exhale on a Friday night in front of the TV. Upon our reflection we wonder why our dreams seem to be stalled. We begin to question if we are in God’s will and if what we have been praying for and striving for so hard to be manifested into the natural is a part of God’s will for our lives.

Well if this is you I encourage you to know THIS IS IT! This is your season. Faint not, don’t allow what you can’t see physically to kill what you can see spiritually. Keep the faith for you are on the door step of that dream, goal, and desire right now. It doesn’t matter where you are right now and that others around you are being blessed in ways that you have been praying to be blessed in or if they are just being blessed period. God doesn’t have a limited supply of blessings and miracles. Wait on the Lord. Watch God show up and show out and get all the glory. If things have gone any other way perhaps people looking in won’t see that it was all God. They may miss your “BUT GOD” moment.

Time is of the essence and God’s timing is perfect. All things are aligned for you to walk right into what you have written on the tables of your heart. Enjoy this wait and down time because you are embarking on a journey of a life time that holds treasures beyond what you even thought to ask God for. Know that God is awesome and is total fulfillment. So tonight if you are beginning to think that this thing is unreachable know that this is not the hour to faint. This is the hour to push open the door with praise.

This is It!

Know God’s Word for Yourself- Don’t be mislead

I was listening to KLove today and one of their ministries came on and told the story of David and Nathanael.  In this very short excerpt the pastor said that God sent Nathanael to David and told him all the good he had done and said that if what he had given him was not enough he would have given him more.  The pastor did went on to say that God didn’t judge David.

This really bothered me.  I think I understood what he was trying to say.  I think he was pointing out that there is nothing our Father God won’t give us.  However, I felt sorry for those who may not know this entire scripture.  David had sinned greatly.  And because of this sin God dealt with David and David had to pay for this sin.  Know the whole word not just parts of it because someone may get from that short excerpt that God won’t judge them in their sin and that they will still flow in an abundance of blessings.  I am not saying you won’t be blessed I am saying that we all must pay for our sins that we commit. The scripture even reads that God struck David’s son that he had just had with Uriah and that child died. David truly paid for his sins and God let him know exactly what he had done wrong and what the consequences were going to be.

Please know the word for yourself.  Even though Jesus died for our sins we are still free will beings who can choose if we will commit sins on a daily basis. We still must pay for those sins. There are consequences to our actions.  Just because we have consequences doesn’t mean that God doesn’t love us but like any parent you must give consequences to your children to help them grown.

2 Samuel 12 New International Version (NIV)

Nathan Rebukes David

12 The Lord sent Nathan to David. When he came to him, he said, “There were two men in a certain town, one rich and the other poor. The rich man had a very large number of sheep and cattle, but the poor man had nothing except one little ewe lamb he had bought. He raised it, and it grew up with him and his children. It shared his food, drank from his cup and even slept in his arms. It was like a daughter to him.

“Now a traveler came to the rich man, but the rich man refrained from taking one of his own sheep or cattle to prepare a meal for the traveler who had come to him. Instead, he took the ewe lamb that belonged to the poor man and prepared it for the one who had come to him.”

David burned with anger against the man and said to Nathan, “As surely as the Lord lives, the man who did this must die! He must pay for that lamb four times over, because he did such a thing and had no pity.”

Then Nathan said to David, “You are the man! This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. I gave your master’s house to you, and your master’s wives into your arms. I gave you all Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more. Why did you despise the word of the Lord by doing what is evil in his eyes? You struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and took his wife to be your own. You killed him with the sword of the Ammonites. 10 Now, therefore, the sword will never depart from your house, because you despised me and took the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your own.’

11 “This is what the Lord says: ‘Out of your own household I am going to bring calamity on you. Before your very eyes I will take your wives and give them to one who is close to you, and he will sleep with your wives in broad daylight. 12 You did it in secret, but I will do this thing in broad daylight before all Israel.’”

13 Then David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.”

Nathan replied, “The Lord has taken away your sin. You are not going to die. 14 But because by doing this you have shown utter contempt for[a] the Lord, the son born to you will die.”

15 After Nathan had gone home, the Lord struck the child that Uriah’s wife had borne to David, and he became ill. 16 David pleaded with God for the child. He fasted and spent the nights lying in sackcloth[b] on the ground. 17 The elders of his household stood beside him to get him up from the ground, but he refused, and he would not eat any food with them.

18 On the seventh day the child died. David’s attendants were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they thought, “While the child was still living, he wouldn’t listen to us when we spoke to him. How can we now tell him the child is dead? He may do something desperate.”
